| ok, its time for weblog entry number two. i think i am going to eventually start writing a piece about each of my friends, since they are all so lovely and wonderful for the most part (though some of them are evil bitches! say tuned to find out about that one)
but for now I am going to talk about a subject i hate: (oh, and for the record i am just too tired to start using capital letters here) REPUBLICANS. Now, i know you might be groaning and thinking "joe talks about this all the time" but listen to this: I was in the co-op (53rd shitty one of course) yesterday when i saw, hanging on the wall, a list of the new FDA/HUD approved food stamp foods. new, meaning that the republicans have decided foods such as "macaroni and cheese" and "egg beaters" are now considered junk food, and can not be bought with food stamps. i nearly fell over. what the fuck? mac and cheese is clearly the staple food of any little kid until you graduate to pizza. (in fact, i think i may have just graduated from pizza a few years ago) so i dont know what the repubs are doing here....trying to save a few tax dollars? how is this religously "moral" i would ask, to deny people food? ah, their craziness astounds me.
of course, i told my parents about this, and being good liberals, they were offended. in their swanky suburb of minneapolis however, this is not heard of.. there are waterfalls in the grocery store, not food stamp sheets. thus, most soccer moms are blissfully unaware of republican greed. my friend bonnie stuck a repub sticker on my back today and i didnt find it until later. sure, she fucked me, but it doesnt compare to how much the repubs are fucking people who cant even afford to eat.
and that my friends is what is wrong with america. god, dont i sound like an old blowhard. how am i going to behave when im 50, let alone 30? oh well just be sure to vote for me when i try to become the first fag senator from illinois. :) | | |
| Ok, i dont really know what im doing here, but ive seen some other peoples sites on this thing at it seems like fun as long as I can swear and stuff.
I've never really been good at keeping a journal for long periods of time, so we will see how this goes.
So my friend Bonnie wrote about Soup that Mrs. Garrett or Alice or some homemaker from her past used to force her to eat, and Josh is musing with his elaborate vocabulary about jeans....I am going to talk about something a lot deeper. Gay Sex.
The other day I was talking with my ex-boyfriend (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND HOPEFULLY YOU ARENT HERE. READ NO FURTHER AND YOU WONT DISCOVER THE NUDE PHOTOS IVE PLACE OF YOU ON THE INTERNET) about incideous tropes. What is an incideous trope? Am I even spelling that correctly?
((BREAKING NEWS::: EMILY KOCHMAN IS GETTING MARRIED ::: DETAILS TO FOLLOW)))
Anyway, I guess an incideous trope is something that really does a lot of damage but doesnt seem to. My initial thought was lesbian sex, but what really goes on there anyway? Then, a few seconds later, I was thinking about gay sex which usually takes up about 75% of my time anyway, and I realized that although its great, its definately an incideous trope due to the fact that I could have been doing so many more things with my time when I think about all the sex I have had. Then I start to feel guilty that this is all about sex in the first place. Shouldnt I be distributing food at a soup kitchen or something? Giving my blood? Though I am such a pansy ass I fainted the one time that I tried that anyway.
What to we learn from this story everyone? Gay sex is an incideous trope, feed the hungry, and GOD BLESS THE USA.
